About Me
"I am Chicken George, the founder and creator of this movement, and my life is living proof that purpose is forged in the fire of survival.
"This brand’s foundation is built on a truth learned through a lifetime of extreme hardships and struggles. My personal journey took me through the darkest places: beginning at the age of 12 when I entered my first juvenile detention home—the start of a cycle that continued with mental hospitals and, as an adult, jail and more mental hospital visits. I was deeply active in the street life, which led to numerous legal challenges that were part of the painful environment I survived. Yet, through it all, I knew my purpose was the opposite. I felt called by God to help my people. The dangers I've faced were not just physical; they were emotional, mental, very scary, and lonely.
"The desire to fight this darkness began early. Even as a child, through all my struggles, I felt a deep, unwavering calling in my heart to help make my home city of Petersburg, Virginia, a safer place to live. That local love never left. In the midst of my struggles, I became entwined in the very street life I vowed to fight.
"The ultimate validation of my transformation came when the Governor of Virginia restored my rights. This official act, affirmed by the state's highest office, is something I take immense pride and honor in, and for which I am deeply appreciative. It stands as powerful proof that my past is a lesson, not a limitation.
"The image of me on the couch, surrounded by bullet holes that narrowly missed my head, is the single, powerful metaphor for this journey. Those holes represent every struggle I survived to reach this point. I was spared not once, but repeatedly, for one clear reason: to fulfill this national purpose. I never thought this movement would be this big, but to be here now, watching my mission to uplift Petersburg expand and spread throughout the entire United States of America, is a miracle in itself.
"I founded this company to channel that survival into visible, undeniable action for the community. The merchandise I create is more than fabric and ink; it is a mobile symbol of redemption and a public demand for change, driven by the hardships and pain I dodged in Petersburg. It is now designed to inspire every corner of the nation.
"I create these products so that you can become an active co-creator of this change, transforming your own journey of dodging pain and struggle into a unified, powerful voice.
"My continued survival and transformation are the fuel, but the movement’s strength is in the collective resilience of people like you. When you display this message, you make a powerful statement: that every life is worth fighting for. Join me in making this essential message unmissable to the world."
